Applies To:
CartGenie v4.0 Standard, Professional & Enterprise Editions

Summary:
CartGenie now provides storeowners with the capability to create another level of navigation below a sub-category. This new level is referred to as a "Collection". The addition of Collections provides storeowners with the capability to provide even more specific navigation to a particular set of products and is based upon the following navigation scheme: Group > Category > Sub-Category > Collection.

Instructions:

To create a Collection, you will use the ">" symbol. Open the Sub-Category and use the following syntax in the Sub-Category Name field: Sub-Category Name > Collection Name. It must be entered in this format!

In the example below a Category called Bicycles has a Sub-Category of Mountain with a Collection called Front Suspension.

Click on the following link to view an example of a sub-category called Mountain and two collections: Front Suspension and Full Suspension:http://www.cartgenie.com/cartgenie/subcategory.asp?category=3

These collections were entered into the Sub-Category Manager in the following format: Mountain > Front Suspension and Mountain > Full Suspension.
